As a patient of Dr. Borquez for over 25 years I have appreciated the care and attention to detail he gives in all my treatment (including front teeth bridge work). My granddaughter broke 7 of her front teeth in an accident and we are in the middle of her permanent restoration. I have every confidence that her smile will be more beautiful than ever!

Dr. Borquez was excellent in treating my TMJ disorder. I had been in constant pain for over 7 months. He diagnosed my condition and outlined a course of home treatment. In one week the constant pain was eliminated and now I have only minor discomfort under certain conditions; I anticipate I will soon be totally pain free. His staff is very courteous. He is one of the few Oral Surgeons in Southern California that accepts Medicare.

I wanted to share my experiences with Dr. Borquez coming from a professional’s perspective. As a dental specialist myself, I have worked with Dr. Borquez in a professional capacity for over twenty-three years. During this time we consulted on the treatment of hundreds of patients. First, and I think the most important thing, is that Dr. Borquez sincerely has his patient’s best interest at heart - always. During those twenty-three years there was never a comment to the contrary. Second, he is a superb clinician and has amazing technical skills producing beautiful dentistry that his patients adored. With respect to his work in oral facial pain, he has taken advanced training and is a certificated Specialist in Oral Facial Pain and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Oral Facial Pain. Beyond that he is on the faculty of USC’s School of Dentistry Department of Oral Facial Pain and so is connected to a broader network of resources that help in treating patients with more complex needs. The patient comments relayed back to me have always been positive and he is well-respected by his professional colleagues. As a fellow clinician I appreciate his conservative approach to patient care and his concerns with their costs. From an “insiders” perspective I could not recommend Dr. Borquez more highly. Everyone is great!! As soon as I walk in the door I am greeted with smiles. The staff is amazing and Dr Borquez is great. He explained everything step by step and made me understand what I needed. The insurance and the finances were explained perfectly!! I recommend them to all of my friends. Borquez is AMAZING ❤️ I higly recommended him to you if you are having TMJ symptoms. He is extremely kind, gentle, and caring about his patients. The facilities are always clean, easy to get to, and they follow all CDC guidelines for Covid- 19. Choose Dr. Borquez and the TMJ and SLEEP you won't regret it.

Dr Borquez is absolutely amazing. He is VERY compassionate, ethical and knows what he is doing. I had horrible TMJ related problems and he helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Dr Borquez really cared and followed up with me to make sure I was getting better in between visits. I was suffering from extremely bad headaches right before going on vacation, Dr Borquez saw me urgently and went above and beyond to ease my pain and Help me get better. I will forever be grateful to this amazing doctor.

So grateful for Dr. Borquez! Not only was he completely competent as a doctor but also followed up with me and had excellent doctor/patient care! I was in such pain and now a pistachio nut is no problem for me!
