TMJ Disorders

TMJ disorders involve issues with your complex jaw joint. Thankfully, these problems, which can cause symptoms like pain or clicking sounds, are now more easily diagnosed and treated than before.

Neuropathic Pain

Neuropathic Pain Disorders are the most confusing and the most difficult to treat. These pain disorders are usually chronic and arise from the brain and nerves of the head, face and neck.

Sleep Apnea

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a serious medical condition (heart disease) and must be diagnosed by a physician. Diagnosis is based on the results of an overnight sleep study called a Polysomnogram (PSG), along with a patient evaluation and history.

Headaches

There have been many advances in the diagnosis and treatment of headaches over the past decade. Dr. Borquez is a member of the HCOP (Headache Cooperative of the Pacific, hcop.org) consisting of Neurologists, MD’s and Orofacial Pain specialists who treat headaches.
